Your Role Within Our Team

As part of our specialized EY-Parthenon (EY-P) team in Financial Services, you will engage in complex, transaction-related corporate finance matters. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting valuation and modeling projects in Financial Services with direct client interactions.
• Developing complex financial models as part of M&A transactions.
• Conducting business valuations using various methodologies and international standards, including intangible asset valuations during Purchase Price Allocations.
• Performing impairment tests and option valuations for financial accounting.
• Assisting in Go-to-Market activities, research, and market analysis.
• Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams across various industries within the financial services sector.
• Participating in diverse transaction areas for comprehensive training.

Your Qualifications

To thrive in this dynamic role, you should possess the following:

• A Master’s degree with a focus on Finance, Accounting, or Banking/Insurance.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in valuation, financial modeling, and corporate finance.
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive work style.
• Genuine interest or relevant experience in the financial services sector.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data processing and visualization (e.g., Python or PowerBI) is an advantage.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities in both German and English, with proficiency in French or other European languages being a plus.
• A strong sense of initiative and responsibility in proposing ideas and solutions.
• A personable, open-minded, and dynamic personality.
