About the Opportunity
Located in Geneva, this role offers a dynamic working pattern that ranges from 80% to 100%. The Tax Team is dedicated to providing integrated tax services that empower clients to navigate both local and global challenges. You will have the chance to advise discerning clients on a variety of tax regulatory regimes.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients from day one on cross-divisional projects across various industries.
- Deepen your expertise in crucial tax aspects relevant to the financial services industry, including:
- Client tax reporting systems such as US FATCA, OECD Automatic Exchange of Information (CRS), and Crypto Assets Reporting Framework (CARF).
- European Directives, including DAC6, DAC8, and FASTER.
- Transaction-related taxes like Swiss Stamp Duty and European FTTs.
- Withholding taxes on financial income, featuring Qualified Intermediary rules and various related procedures.
- Taxation of financial products under both Swiss and foreign tax regulations, including specific regimes like §871(m) or §1446.
- Collaborate closely with senior team members on regulatory research, client presentations, and proposals as well as participate in client meetings, audits, and short-term assignments.
- Work within an international team, sharing ideas and strategies with colleagues around the globe.

What We Are Looking For
- A Master’s degree in business administration, economics, or law, preferably with a focus on tax.
- Between 2 to 4 years of relevant experience gained in a big four firm or in-house at a banking institution.
- Experience in QI, FATCA, and CRS reviews, with a solid understanding of their reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in handling QI, FATCA, and CRS advisory projects that involve research and drafting.
- Additional knowledge in Swiss corporate tax and/or AML/KYC is advantageous.
- A positive, pragmatic attitude with a readiness to assume responsibility.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and service-minded approach to tasks.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality results and a collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal skills.
- A capability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- A keen interest in examining complex questions and embodying values such as curiosity, boldness, respect, and inclusivity.
- Willingness to learn and a desire for self-development.
- Fluent in both French and English, with Italian considered a plus.
- Competence in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
