Senior Analyst - Actuarial Advisory, Audit & Assurance

Overview

Join a diverse and dynamic team in Zurich, specializing in the full spectrum of the actuarial profession, which encompasses financial risk management, life and non-life insurance, and pensions. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to consulting projects that guide our clients through significant organizational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients on various projects in life and non-life insurance, financial risk, and pensions, providing insights that nurture cross-sector solutions.
• Conduct complex industry-specific work including consulting on reserving and pricing, actuarial valuations, and financial modelling.
• Analyze and synthesize data to provide clear insights, particularly in areas like M&A and due diligence within insurance portfolios and pension obligations.
• Apply various regulatory frameworks including IFRS 17, Solvency II, IAS 19, and ASC 715, ensuring robust compliance with sector requirements.
• Support business development initiatives by crafting persuasive proposals and establishing thought leadership in the actuarial field.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in multiple actuarial fields, demonstrating a broad understanding and willingness to learn across disciplines.
• A degree in a quantitative discipline with strong skills in data analysis and modelling.
• An actuarial or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred, or a commitment to obtaining one.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and deliver innovative solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
• Familiarity with international and Swiss actuarial work, including its implications for financial statements and capital positions.
• Proficiency in both English and German to facilitate collaboration with diverse teams and clients.
