Position Overview

Zurich International School, an inclusive non-profit day school located in the Greater Zurich area, offers a comprehensive bilingual and international educational program for local and international students aged 3 to 18. We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our dynamic team.

Role Description

The successful candidate will be an experienced English teacher for grades 11 & 12, dedicated to inspiring and engaging students through their passion for the subject and professional practice. Collaboration with a team of professional educators to design, deliver, and assess a student-centered curriculum is essential in our diverse international school setting.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A minimum of 5 years of English teaching experience, preferably at an international school.
• Eligibility for teaching licensure with a specialization, preferably at the Master’s level.
• A documented record of excellence in teaching, particularly in IB English Language & Literature.
• Familiarity with or a willingness to teach AP Language & Composition and/or AP Seminar.
• Understanding of concept-based curriculum and inquiry-based pedagogical approaches.
• A strong commitment to professional development and relationship building with students and colleagues.
