Your Responsibilities
As a key contributor, you will be engaged in a range of innovative research projects concentrating on next-generation battery materials and interfaces. Your role will encompass:
- Leading cutting-edge research initiatives.
- Developing and employing advanced physical, electrochemical, and operando characterization methods for battery materials and devices.
- Establishing and driving national and international collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, and industrial partners.
- Publishing scientific findings in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and presenting research at international conferences.
- Contributing strategically to the group's development, including new research initiatives and enhancing laboratory infrastructure and experimental capabilities.
- Mentoring and supervising PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and junior scientists, supporting their scientific and professional growth.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A PhD in materials science, chemistry, physics, electrochemistry, or a closely related discipline.
- A robust research background in electrochemistry, battery materials, solid-state batteries, or related fields.
- A demonstrated record of scientific excellence, supported by a strong publication history.
- Experience with advanced materials characterization techniques.
- A track record of securing competitive research funding or a clear potential to attract external funding.
- Familiarity with large-scale research facilities, such as synchrotron or neutron sources, is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a genuine interest in mentoring early-career researchers.
- Proficiency in English.
