Responsibilities

As part of our dynamic team, you will engage in pioneering work in the development of advanced fragrance delivery systems utilizing cutting-edge functional materials and innovative formulation concepts. Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and optimizing the performance of developed systems in practical applications through the application of modern soft matter physics principles.
• Generating and protecting new intellectual property.
• Building collaborative networks with both internal and external partners.
• Managing projects effectively to stay within established timescales and budget constraints.
• Transforming research findings into compelling communications and peer-reviewed publications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A PhD in areas such as Colloid Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physical Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Biomaterials Engineering.
• Practical experience in synthesizing or assembling colloids or delivery systems utilizing biopolymers, biomaterials, green chemistry, biomineralization, or biodegradable building blocks.
• A solid understanding of colloid chemistry, interfacial science, polymer science, encapsulation techniques, and relevant characterization methods.
• A proven aptitude for conducting independent research focused on new material development and bioactive delivery systems, with the capability to evaluate structure-property relationships and performance in application.
• Experience in a research and development environment related to industry.
• Adeptness in adapting to the requirements of both long-term and rapidly evolving projects while maintaining time management and attention to detail.
• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively in teams and maintain strategic partnerships across local and global departments.
• Proficiency in English, complemented by exceptional communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.
