Strategic Process Design for SAP S/4HANA Transformation
Join an international client initiative to drive the successful implementation and rollout of SAP S/4HANA. This role focuses exclusively on business process design, assessment, and solution guidance within the Sales and Distribution (SD) Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Master Data Management (MDM) domains. The position requires a strong emphasis on bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical implementation teams, ensuring seamless process integration without engaging in technical customization or development.
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary SAP SD OTC Business Process Consultant, providing expert guidance and solution proposals for process design.
- Support the collection, assessment, and processing of business requirements for SD OTC and MDM processes, including customer and article master data.
- Act as the bridge between business counterparts, technical teams, and the implementation team to facilitate solution design and development of new functionalities.
- Lead workshops to explain template solutions and identify process gaps in collaboration with technical partners.
- Support the client’s S/4HANA rollouts by managing cutover activities and providing hypercare support.
- Create comprehensive test scripts and training materials to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder communication to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Expertise
- Long-term project experience in business process solution design and delivery.
- Strong, long-term experience with SAP SD OTC processes.
- Significant experience in MDM processes, specifically regarding customer and article master data.
- Preferred experience with SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Very good knowledge of business processes and relevant technology in Wholesale, Retail, and/or E-Commerce sectors.
- Experience in international projects for European businesses.
- Highly beneficial experience in the retail, fashion, or consumer goods industry.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; German language skills are a plus.
Engagement Details
- Start date: October.
- Duration: 3 months with an option to extend.
- Workload: 5 days per week.
- Location: Hybrid model requiring on-site work in Germany approximately 2-3 days per week every other week, or for critical workshops and onboarding, with the remainder of the time available for remote work.
