SAP Payroll Techno Functional Consultant (German payroll)

Join a Global Pharmaceutical Transformation Programme

Contribute to a long-term transformation initiative for a global pharmaceutical organisation as a fully remote consultant. This role offers the opportunity to work on a 12-month contract with immediate start, operating within Central European Time (CET) and communicating in English.

Key Responsibilities and Scope

• Provide techno-functional support for SAP HCM Payroll within a global environment
• Configure and maintain payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, and payroll processes
• Manage payroll interfaces, integrations, and reporting structures
• Perform troubleshooting and provide ongoing support in SAP ECC environments
• Engage confidently with business stakeholders to deliver solutions independently

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience within SAP HCM and Payroll
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP German Payroll
• Recent German Payroll project experience, ideally within the last 3-4 years
• Proficiency in SAP ECC environments
• Techno-functional background with strong troubleshooting and support capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences sector
• Location in Poland, with Portugal and Spain also considered
