SAP EWM Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a transformative SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementation as part of a broader SAP S/4HANA RISE initiative. The successful candidate will participate in the Prepare phase and take proactive ownership of the EWM project throughout the implementation lifecycle, from preparation to Go-Live and into subsequent rollout activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP EWM implementation and rollout projects from Prepare to Go-Live.
• Take hands-on ownership of the project lifecycle, effectively managing activities, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Manage cross-functional SAP functional and technical consultants.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, status reporting, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management, and governance.
• Drive delivery using the SAP Activate methodology.
• Lead and coordinate Fit-to-Standard workshops to assess business requirements against SAP standard processes.
• Facilitate multiple international country rollouts within the SAP S/4HANA RISE programme.
• Deliver SAP EWM solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices and the EWM Baseline Industry Template.
• Coordinate integration between SAP EWM and SAP S/4HANA.
• Manage warehouse technology integrations, including RF devices and associated systems.
• Coordinate EWM dependencies with wider business processes, including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and project timelines through to resolution.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and technical teams.
• Manage geographically distributed delivery teams.
• Support testing, cutover, deployment, and Go-Live activities.
• Ensure effective communication between business and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience managing SAP implementation projects.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple SAP EWM implementation projects in a Project Manager capacity.
• Strong hands-on project management experience across the full SAP implementation lifecycle.
• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience of the SAP Activate methodology and its various phases.
• Experience leading Fit-to-Standard workshops and proficient in the SAP implementation lifecycle.
• Experience in delivering greenfield SAP EWM implementations.
• Management experience with SAP EWM deployments, including SAP S/4HANA integration, warehouse integrations, and RF device integration.
• Experience leading SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
• A strong understanding of SAP EWM master data and transactional data objects.
• Good knowledge of EWM integration with O2C, P2P, and R2R processes.
• Strong skills in project planning and scheduling.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to operate effectively as a hands-on Project Manager rather than solely at a programme governance level.
