Red Team Tester

Your Role

We are expanding our global Red Team and are seeking additional testers to drive security improvements across the bank by simulating real-world cyber-attacks. Based in Krakow or Wroclaw, candidates will leverage their experience in security testing, preferably with a background in red teaming within a large corporate or consultancy environment.

The ideal candidates have a passion for cyber security, staying updated on threats, vulnerabilities, and techniques beyond their daily responsibilities. We value individuals who can communicate technical findings in the context of business risk, exhibit creativity in their approach, and possess a broad technical skillset. While technical certifications such as CREST or OSCP are advantageous, the ability to produce clear reports in business English is essential, as are project management skills and strong organizational capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and management to develop red team scenarios aligned with real-world cyber threats.
• Work alongside blue teams and security monitoring functions.
• Execute controlled red team exercises, emulating tactics, techniques, and procedures of cyber threat actors.
• Liaise with key stakeholders during testing phases.
• Create detailed reports of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Participate in operational briefings and presentations to technical teams, non-technical stakeholders, and senior management.
• Provide technical expertise across the bank.

Your Expertise

• Strong technical background in cyber security.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing and/or red team assessments of critical business assets.
• Good knowledge of enterprise architectures, operations, and IT control environments.
• Up-to-date knowledge of threat and vulnerability management techniques and tools.
• An inquisitive mind and genuine passion for security research.
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills in English, particularly in translating complex technical matters into business-focused and risk-centric language.
• Formal security testing certifications (e.g., CREST, Offensive Security, GIAC) would be beneficial.
