Your Role
Join our product development team for high-speed turbochargers located in Baden, Switzerland, where you will play a vital role in mechanical design within R&D projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- 3D and 2D mechanical CAD design of turbocharger components and assemblies using CATIA V6 / 3DX
- Development of new turbocharger parts as part of interdisciplinary project teams
- Optimization of part designs and drawings to meet cost targets and technical supply chain requirements
- Providing technical product support for our existing turbocharger portfolio
- Collaborating with the core component development group to integrate innovative compressor and turbine stages into turbocharger products
- Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our quality control processes and technical requirement specifications
Your Background
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- MSc. (FH) in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience in 3D CAD modelling and technical drawing development
- Familiarity with geometrical, positional, and shape tolerancing in accordance with ISO standards
- Proficient in both German and English (B2 level)
- A strong commitment to quality and thorough attention to detail
- High level of self-management capability
- Experience in quality control processes within a manufacturing setting
- Exposure to project management or engineering change management is advantageous
- Knowledge of applied engineering statistics or six sigma quality methods is a plus
