Position Overview

Join a dynamic team focused on leveraging digital technologies and automation to enhance production environments. Your role will involve transforming operational requirements into scalable digital solutions that provide tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead industrial digitalization and Manufacturing IT projects from initial concept to implementation and user adoption.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment to achieve favorable business outcomes.
  • Oversee IT workstreams within manufacturing equipment projects, ensuring seamless integration of processes, control systems, and enterprise IT.
  • Support testing and commissioning processes, including Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) from an IT perspective.
  • Translate operational needs into solution concepts, coordinating with IT and technical experts on architecture and integration decisions.
  • Act as a key connector among business stakeholders, equipment suppliers, IT teams, and external implementation partners.

Your Background

  • 5+ years of experience in managing IT or digitalization projects, particularly in a manufacturing setting.
  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the interplay between shop floor systems and enterprise IT.
  • Demonstrated expertise in requirements engineering, process analysis, and solution design, with the ability to convert business needs into technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with IT systems in manufacturing such as MES, SAP, WMS, or industrial data platforms is highly valued.
  • Experience with industrial automation/control systems and IT/OT integration, particularly involving PLC/SPS-based equipment and industrial communication protocols is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional stakeholders and external partners while balancing budgets, timelines, and project risks.
  • A structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach complemented by strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken) is required.
