Your Role

In our dynamic international environment, you will shape the future of our turbocharger portfolio, driving a competitive product strategy that aligns customer roadmaps with our internal development initiatives. Your expertise will be pivotal as you lead cross-functional teams through design changes, ensuring that projects are executed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Strategy & Competitiveness:
  • Maintain a competitive, lean, and customer-centric product portfolio.
  • Continuously assess portfolio performance and identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, or expansion.
• Customer Roadmap & Market Alignment:
  • Lead internal activities triggered by customer roadmap discussions, ensuring alignment between market demands and internal development priorities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between customer-facing teams, development and engineering, and technical teams to translate customer needs into actionable product plans.
• Product Development Initiation:
  • Initiate and define product development activities based on market trends, competitive analysis, and direct customer input.
  • Ensure new initiatives are commercially viable and aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Governance & Ownership:
  • Serve as the owner of the Product Market Strategy for the High Speed product chapter, ensuring its relevance and completeness.
• Major Design Change Request Leadership:
  • Lead complex Design Change Request projects with broad impacts across multiple products or platforms.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-efficient implementation of significant product changes.

Your Background

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Engine, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent technical fields.
• 5+ years of experience in R&D, including system-level development in turbocharger or related domains.
• Strong business acumen and strategic project portfolio management skills.
• Project Management experience, with certification as a Program Manager preferred.
• Innovative mindset with strong strategic foresight.
• Proven ability in cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Risk-based decision-making skills with an accountability for results.
