Our Client

Our client is a leading global player in the Pharmaceutical industry, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. They are currently undergoing a cultural transformation and enhancing their external perception. This organization specializes in novel therapies for Oncology and Ophthalmology and is developing a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology, boasting one of the strongest sets of Phase II/III studies globally.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned manufacturing tasks in the hand packaging of clinical trial samples according to the production plan, ensuring timely production of products in line with relevant GMP, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Manually label and package primary packaged pharmaceuticals for clinical studies.
  • Carry out all assigned tasks according to the production plan and valid GMP, operational, environmental, and safety instructions and guidelines.
  • Timely and accurate creation of batch documentation as part of the production process.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the production area's housekeeping (workplace cleaning, organization, 5S, etc.).
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines (HSE).
  • Apply current GMP regulations.
  • Conduct process-related controls.
  • Correctly and accurately document performed activities on paper and in electronic batch documentation, in accordance with GMP regulations.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and analysis of weaknesses, proposing improvement measures (organization, process, safety, hygiene, etc.) at the production site.
  • Participate in all relevant functional training and maintain required training standards.
  • Manage or participate in continuous improvement projects aligned with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with other units and be willing to work in other areas as needed (e.g., primary packaging, warehouse, label printing).

Requirements

  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required.
  • Experience in the GMP sector and in the packaging of pharmaceutical products.
  • A self-motivated, communicative, and flexible personality, capable of maintaining precise and reliable work under pressure.
  • A team player with strong team spirit.
  • High sense of duty and attention to detail (documentation, organization, and cleanliness at the workplace).
  • Constructive work approach, flexibility, solution-oriented mentality, personal accountability for work, and deep understanding of quality.
  • High self-motivation and quick comprehension to adapt to new tasks.
  • Fine motor skills and enjoyment in performing precise work.
  • Proficient in standard PC applications (MS Office), knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
  • Good experience and knowledge in GMP or hygiene-critical areas.
  • Very good written and spoken German skills; English skills are an advantage.
