We are on the lookout for a Principal Applied Scientist who possesses both research and development expertise and a passion for creating cutting-edge AI products that push technological boundaries. Ideal candidates will have experience in designing, building, and deploying AI products, a robust understanding of the latest cloud and machine learning technologies, and a commitment to leveraging customer data to derive broader insights.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy cloud-based AI applications.
- Build and deploy LLM-based agentic systems.
- Engage with customers to comprehend and alleviate their pain points.
- Document experimental findings and communicate results across the team.
- Mentor early career team members.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should possess one of the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research).
- Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 4+ years of relevant experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research).
- Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research).
- Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include one of the following:
- Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in creating publications (e.g., patents, libraries, peer-reviewed academic papers).
- 2+ years of experience as an invited speaker at conferences or industry events.
- 5+ years of experience conducting research in academic or industry settings.
- 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying live production systems within a product team.
- 3+ years of experience in bringing products or systems from ideation to market across various stages of the product lifecycle.
