Your Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Engine & Powerplant Maintenance:
    • Remove, install, and replace engine components and assemblies while adhering to approved procedures.
    • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair ancillary engine equipment, including fuel, ignition, oil, and cooling systems.
    • Conduct engine ground runs and operational tests to verify functionality, alongside maintaining and repairing engine mounts, cowlings, exhaust systems, and air induction systems.
    • Monitor engine parameters and diagnose mechanical and performance issues, ensuring proper maintenance of fuel systems such as pumps, filters, lines, and tanks.
  • Electrical Systems:
    • Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair aircraft electrical systems, including power generation, distribution, batteries, and wiring.
    • Test electrical components and assemblies using various diagnostic tools, such as circuit testers and multimeters.
    • Assemble and install electrical components using hand tools and soldering equipment and perform system functional tests.
    • Repair or replace defective wiring, connectors, and electronic components as necessary.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and aircraft records in accordance with aviation regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA airworthiness directives and service bulletins.
  • Safety & Quality Assurance:
    • Adhere to aviation safety procedures, regulations, and best practices.
    • Conduct pre-flight and post-maintenance inspections, identifying and reporting any safety hazards or airworthiness discrepancies.
    • Ensure that all work adheres to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Competencies & Duties

Work independently and responsibly while complying with ANAVIA’s employment contract, company safety instructions, and quality manual, alongside all relevant process specifications and instructions.

Your Profile

Qualifications

  • Education: Technical diploma in aircraft maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical-related field. Avionics training or certification and engine-specific training certifications are valuable.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience maintaining aircraft electrical systems, engines, and mechanical components. Proven experience with turbine or piston aircraft engines, alongside familiarity with helicopter systems like rotorcraft and turboshaft engines, is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Proficient in aircraft electrical systems, power generation, and distribution. Solid mechanical aptitude with expertise in engine and fuel systems and skilled in the use of electrical test equipment.
  • Safety and Regulatory: Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Physical: Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and working in confined spaces for extended periods, alongside manual dexterity for precision work.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management while demonstrating the ability to work independently.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (oral and written) is required; German language skills are a plus.
