Key Responsibilities

• Developing a beta-detected NMR (beta-NMR) spectrometer at ISOLDE / CERN.
• Designing a vacuum load-lock system for the beta-NMR spectrometer.
• Conducting research in condensed matter physics and materials science utilizing muon spin spectroscopy techniques (muSR) at PSI and beta-NMR at ISOLDE / CERN.
• Actively participating in the development of the beta-NMR group at ISOLDE / CERN.
• Contributing to the MUONIVERSE collaboration.
• Presenting research results through publications and contributions to scientific conferences.

Desired Qualifications

• PhD degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Extensive expertise in solid state physics, materials science, vacuum technology, and beta-NMR instrumentation.
• Experience with beta-NMR and muSR techniques.
• Enthusiastic and motivated, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
