Key Responsibilities
- Developing a beta-detected NMR (beta-NMR) spectrometer at ISOLDE / CERN.
- Designing a vacuum load-lock system for the beta-NMR spectrometer.
- Conducting research in condensed matter physics and materials science utilizing muon spin spectroscopy techniques (muSR) at PSI and beta-NMR at ISOLDE / CERN.
- Actively participating in the development of the beta-NMR group at ISOLDE / CERN.
- Contributing to the MUONIVERSE collaboration.
- Presenting research results through publications and contributions to scientific conferences.
Desired Qualifications
- PhD degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Extensive expertise in solid state physics, materials science, vacuum technology, and beta-NMR instrumentation.
- Experience with beta-NMR and muSR techniques.
- Enthusiastic and motivated, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
