Position Overview
In a dynamic and vital role, you will contribute to the implementation and coordination of comprehensive security measures that uphold the safety and integrity of our operations across various sites in Switzerland and beyond. Your efforts will be instrumental in protecting our people, assets, and operations through effective physical security practices aligned with our corporate standards and best practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the implementation of security measures across multiple sites, with a focus on operations in Switzerland and internationally, especially in Africa.
- Enhance intrusion prevention, critical asset protection, and business continuity by overseeing physical security systems, access control, incident management, and emergency response processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders both locally and at headquarters to evaluate existing security practices, identify vulnerabilities, and analyze potential threats impacting personnel, facilities, operations, and supply chains.
- Investigate and document security or safety incidents, providing management with detailed reports and recommending corrective measures as necessary.
- Oversee the daily management of third-party security providers, handle associated contracts, and establish and monitor relevant performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with law enforcement agencies, local emergency services, and other external partners to enhance security efforts.
- Design and deliver training programs focused on physical security and emergency management, along with targeted awareness sessions for staff.
- Perform close protection assignments during travel, ensuring preparation and execution of VIP protection plans tailored to various environments.
- Plan and implement security measures for events, travel, and high-risk situations to ensure safety and security.
- Support the management of emergencies and incidents through coordinated evacuation efforts, medical responses, and logistical support.
