Context & Mission

Our organization is an independent, international medical and humanitarian entity dedicated to delivering care to those in need without discrimination based on race, religion, creed, or political affiliation. We operate across several centers with a commitment to alleviating suffering caused by natural or man-made disasters and armed conflicts.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our support base within German-speaking Switzerland and Liechtenstein, managing relationships with individual major donors to enhance their engagement with our mission. Duties will encompass organizing meetings, sharing updates on projects, coordinating donor events, and soliciting financial contributions to support our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of major donors, delivering exceptional experiences to enhance engagement.
  • Qualify major donor prospects in collaboration with the Prospect Researcher.
  • Organize and facilitate meaningful interactions, including meetings and presentations.
  • Establish connections with new potential major donors and deepen existing relationships.
  • Ensure smooth progress of donor management and maintain an up-to-date database.
  • Liaise with writing officers for the development of engaging materials for presentation.
  • Support the solicitation process through personalized strategies catering to donor motivations.
  • Collaborate with the System Support Team for efficient CRM usage and assist in income forecasting.

Your Profile

Education

  • University degree in relevant fields such as Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or International Relations.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in public relations, wealth management, advocacy, or similar fields.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management Systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus.

Languages

  • Fluency in (Swiss) German and English, knowledge of French and Italian is advantageous.

Employment Terms

  • Full-time position (40 hours/week) with an open-ended contract.
  • Location: Zürich, with an ideal start date as soon as possible.
  • Competitive gross annual salary, with benefits including 25 days of paid vacation and a pension plan supported by the organization.
