Operations Analyst – Securities Settlements & Asset Transfers Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to contribute to our dynamic office environment in Zurich, Switzerland. This position is focused on delivering exceptional services in the realm of securities settlements and asset transfers on a 12-month contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure comprehensive processing of free-of-payment portfolio transfers for private clients.
• Coordinate the alignment of various assets with all involved parties, capturing instructions and monitoring successful settlements in global markets.
• Receive and validate client settlement orders while addressing exceptions on these orders.
• Match Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI’s), enriching asset transfer transactions for counterparty custodians.
• Monitor, identify, and report settlement fails on both position and cash sides, liaising with internal partners and external counterparties, including custodian banks, to resolve breaks, issues, and queries.
• Repair and release settlement instructions for custody transactions across various global markets and manage client inquiries related to existing or potential transactions.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in asset transfers.
• Strong understanding of securities markets, particularly the functions of a custodian.
• Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, specifically in relation to MT54x settlement instructions.
• Knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products, including processing confirmations and settlements.
• Proven experience in securities settlements, specifically in capturing, instructing, and monitoring orders.
