Your Role
In this position, you will drive the marketing strategy for our obesity portfolio across Switzerland, especially engaging specialist healthcare professionals to transform obesity treatment in specialist care settings. You’ll lead at the intersection of commercial strategy, medical expertise, and patient advocacy within one of healthcare's most dynamic therapeutic areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute specialist-focused marketing strategies for the obesity portfolio, driving adoption among priority specialist segments across Switzerland.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, prescriber behavior, and competitive dynamics in the obesity landscape, translating insights into actionable campaign improvements and field activities.
- Oversee product launches and specialist-targeted advertising campaigns, ensuring strong execution, field readiness, and alignment with Swiss market dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical, Sales, and Market Access to implement product and brand updates, ensuring seamless and timely execution.
- Prepare forecasts and budgets to optimize sales performance across specialist segments and regions in Switzerland.
- Develop and implement multichannel marketing strategies, leveraging content analytics to shape channel and content decisions across specialist-facing touchpoints.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute participation in key national and international congresses, ensuring strong brand presence and alignment with overall brand objectives.
Your Department
As a member of the Cardiometabolic Marketing team within the Swiss affiliate, you will contribute to transforming the treatment landscape for obesity and related metabolic conditions. This dynamic group plays a crucial role in connecting innovative treatments with healthcare professionals and patients, while navigating the unique dynamics of the Swiss healthcare system.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking a strategic marketeer with deep expertise in pharmaceutical marketing and a passion for making a difference in obesity care. Ideal qualifications include:
- A university degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Several years of experience in brand marketing within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with experience in the OTC or FMCG industry as a plus.
- Proven track record in developing and executing multichannel marketing strategies, with strong capabilities in content planning, analytics, and digital marketing.
- Strong ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and drive data-driven marketing decisions.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering across Sales, Medical, and Market Access teams.
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).
