Nanny / Housekeeper

Mission Overview

We are currently in search of a highly experienced, discreet, and trustworthy professional to join a private family in Coppet as a live-in Nanny / Housekeeper. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Turkish and English and possess prior experience working with high-profile families, fully understanding the necessity for privacy and security in a household setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the care, safety, emotional well-being, and balanced development of an 11-year-old child in a nurturing environment.
• Support the child’s education by fostering a connection to Turkish culture, including language, literature, and traditions.
• Provide care for the child before and after school, ensuring reliability and punctuality.
• Manage daily meals, including meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking according to household standards.
• Oversee household tasks such as shopping, cleaning, tidying, and laundry.
• Assist the family’s food autonomy through activities including fruit and vegetable growing, permaculture greenhouse maintenance, mushroom cultivation, and small-scale honey production.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding the family’s private life and personal information.
• Exhibit professional conduct and discretion at all times to safeguard the family’s privacy.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrates utmost trustworthiness and discretion.
• Possesses a strong cultural background and deep familiarity with Turkish culture.
• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with high-profile families.
• Training or solid experience in areas such as fruit and vegetable growing, permaculture greenhouse maintenance, mushroom cultivation, and beekeeping is highly desirable.
• Languages: Fluent Turkish required, English (C1 – spoken and written) required, French is an asset.
• Personal qualities: Gentle, patient, and positive educational approach; reliable, punctual, autonomous, and flexible; discreet.
