Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic engagement plans to build and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), surgeons, operating room staff, and medical societies in the cardiac ablation field.
  • Act as a scientific authority in cardiac electrophysiology, delivering medical and scientific education to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing scientific insights and contributions to support product management, clinical affairs, marketing, and research & development efforts.
  • Effectively communicate complex scientific information to healthcare professionals, ensuring clarity regarding the benefits and clinical applications of our cardiac ablation platforms.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in cardiac electrophysiology to offer relevant insights and guidance.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on scientific findings and participate in educational programs to enhance awareness of our product offerings.
  • Support clinical studies and research by providing expertise and maintaining transparent communication with key external contacts.
  • Train and educate internal teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of scientific messages.
  • Analyze customer, scientific, and market data on both pre-launch and marketed products.
  • Assist in the development of educational materials and support programs for team members.
  • Engage with clinicians to discuss study concepts and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Advanced/Doctoral Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the biotech industry, with a focus on cardiovascular medicine.
  • Experience of 5 or more years in Medical Affairs, Clinical Sciences, or as a Medical Science Liaison is highly desirable.
  • A strong foundation in cardiovascular medicine, specifically within interventional cardiology and electrophysiology.
  • Sound understanding of clinical research methodologies, regulatory guidelines, and medical terminology.
  • Proven capability to establish and maintain productive relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
  • Able to interpret scientific data quickly and accurately.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to shifting priorities and environments.
  • Work authorization in the EU & UK is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
