Your Mission
As a key contributor, you will take technical ownership of electromechanical products, developing robust and cost-effective technical solutions and specializing in printed circuit board (PCB) design:
- Own the technical authority on projects, bearing full responsibility for electromechanical products through the development cycle and mass production.
- Create multilayer PCBs, optimizing performance while adhering to mechanical and electrical constraints.
- Develop impactful technical solutions based on customer specifications, meeting electrical, thermal, and RF performance requirements.
- Verify and manage customer requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications.
- Draft comprehensive technical documentation, including design descriptions, user manuals, test specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
- Conduct RF and EMI/EMC simulations to ensure signal integrity and lead validation testing.
- Contribute to R&D roadmap for strategic electronic developments and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.
- Interface with clients and suppliers on technical product aspects, managing discussions on requirements, non-conformities, and deviation requests.
- Integrate feedback into continuous improvement of products and processes.
Your Story
- Education: Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Systems (EPF, HES, Master's, or equivalent).
- Professional Experience: 5 to 7 years in PCB design using Altium Designer in interdisciplinary engineering for demanding applications like aerospace, scientific instruments, and defense.
- Proficient in RF simulation tools (Ansys HFSS, ADS) and RF measurement instrumentation.
- Knowledgeable in electromechanical systems design and thermal management.
- Experience with National Instruments hardware and LabView.
- Mastery in PCB design with Altium Designer or equivalent.
- Experience in the design of slip rings.
- Competency in multiphysics tools and signal transfer technologies (Ethernet, video).
- Expertise in reliability analysis, thermal design, or vacuum technologies.
- Organized and methodical approach to complex problem analysis.
- Flexibility and creativity in addressing technical challenges.
- Strong commitment to delivering performance-driven solutions within deadlines.
- Able to mentor and guide team members, communicating strategies clearly and inspiringly.
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, fostering direct and respectful communication.
- Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on optimization.
- Fluent in English and French.
