Your Mission
- Technical Authority: Take full technical responsibility for electromechanical products throughout the development cycle and during mass production.
- PCB Design: Develop multilayer PCBs while optimizing performance (impedance, signal isolation, RF) in compliance with mechanical and electrical constraints.
- Technical Solutions Development: Create robust and cost-effective technical solutions based on client specifications, meeting electrical, thermal, and RF performance requirements.
- Requirements Management: Verify and manage client requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications and maintaining verification control documents (VCD).
- Technical Documentation: Write comprehensive technical documentation, including design descriptions, user manuals, test specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
- RF Simulations and Testing Management: Conduct RF and EMI/EMC simulations to ensure signal integrity and carry out validation tests (measuring RF parameters: IL/RL).
- Technical Support and R&D: Contribute to defining the R&D roadmap for strategic electronic developments and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.
- External Relations Management: Interface with clients and suppliers on the technical aspects of products, managing discussions related to requirements, non-conformities, and waivers.
- Experience Capitalization: Integrate feedback for continuous improvement in products and processes.
Your Background
- Education: Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Control Systems (EPF, HES, Master's or equivalent).
- Experience: 5 to 7 years in PCB design using Altium Designer and interdisciplinary engineering (in demanding applications such as aerospace, scientific instruments, military, etc.).
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools (Ansys HFSS, ADS) and RF measurement instruments (spectrum analyzers, IL/RL).
- Knowledge of electromechanical system design and thermal management.
- Experience with National Instruments hardware and LabView.
- Expertise in PCB design with Altium Designer or equivalent.
- Experience in designing slip rings.
- Proficiency in multiphysics tools and signal transfer technologies (Ethernet, video).
- Expertise in reliability analysis, thermal design, or vacuum technologies.
- Ability to work methodically through complex problems.
- Flexibility and creativity in addressing technical changes and challenges.
- Commitment to delivering performance-driven solutions while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members, communicating strategies clearly and inspiringly.
