With full autonomy to shape the business strategy, you will report directly to the owners and drive both commercial growth and operational excellence.

The Opportunity

We seek an experienced leader adept in precision manufacturing, capable of guiding the organization through its next development stage. This role combines strategic insight with practical operational and commercial responsibilities, enabling you to influence all segments of the business. You will lead an established team, enhance profitability, and ensure sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Growth:
  • Develop and implement a long-term business strategy in collaboration with ownership.
  • Identify avenues for organic growth, explore new markets, and drive revenue increases.
  • Foster a culture centered on accountability, performance, and innovation.
• Commercial & Financial Leadership:
  • Assume full responsibility for business performance and profit and loss management.
  • Champion revenue growth and improve profitability and margins.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategy.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Lead manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and procurement operations.
  • Enhance productivity and operational efficiency, focusing on customer delivery.
  • Establish and monitor robust KPIs for performance management.
• People & Culture:
  • Guide and develop the senior leadership team, fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Implement succession planning to bolster organizational capability.
  • Advocate for a strong health, safety, and quality-first mindset throughout the organization.

About You

We are keen to engage with ambitious leaders who have demonstrated success in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Extensive senior leadership experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Proven track record of P&L ownership and commercial accountability.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across operations and engineering disciplines.
• A solid understanding of manufacturing operations, quality assurance, and supply chain dynamics.
• A background in driving performance improvements and operational efficiencies.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience in precision engineering, metal manufacturing, or industrial production.
• Background with privately-owned or family-run manufacturing enterprises.
• Involvement in growth or transformation initiatives.
• Experience in highly regulated or technically demanding manufacturing environments.
