Key Responsibilities
As a financial crime legal expert, you will:
- Serve as counsel on financial crime legal issues, addressing complex matters with significant legal, financial, and reputational consequences.
- Provide legal expertise on Swiss, EU, UK, UN, US, and other relevant financial crime laws to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Support the proactive management of the Bank's financial crime and reputational risks.
- Identify emerging financial crime legal trends and develop strategies to mitigate related risks.
- Create and deliver training on financial crime legal risks at various levels of the organization.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Expert knowledge of financial crime laws, including anti-money laundering, sanctions, anti-bribery, corruption, and fraud law.
- Proven experience advising senior management.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong judgment, prioritization skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Qualified lawyer with substantial post-educational experience.
