Role Overview

Contribute to the success of our clients as they navigate global challenges. In this capacity, you will provide expert guidance to corporate and private equity clients concerning the technology aspects of their crucial transactions. By understanding the pivotal role technology plays in M&A, you will aid clients in making informed decisions that enhance business value in an era where AI is rapidly transforming industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Due Diligence: Lead assessments of technology landscapes, including applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, and cybersecurity, to pinpoint risks and opportunities relevant to transactions.
• Technology Strategy and Value Creation: Offer counsel on technology strategies, including the impact of AI, operating model design, and value enhancement throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Technology Integrations and Carve-Outs: Direct technology integration and separation planning, focusing on Day 1 readiness, TSA considerations, and detailed execution roadmaps.
• Technology Cost and Synergy Analysis: Evaluate technology costs, investment needs, synergies, and complexities in collaboration with financial and commercial deal teams.
• Client Leadership: Cultivate trusted relationships with C-level executives and technology leaders, managing multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional results.

Candidate Profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for resolving complex business and technology challenges.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, able to translate technical topics into business insights for executives.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in M&A, technology strategy, or transaction advisory roles.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, curiosity for emerging technologies (especially AI), and fluency in English; knowledge of German and/or French is advantageous.
