Opportunity Overview

Located in Zurich, this position offers a full-time commitment of 80-100%. Join a dynamic team dedicated to helping clients unleash their value during significant M&A transactions.

Impact and Responsibilities

You will play a crucial role in our M&A practice, providing comprehensive financial and strategic advice throughout various stages of M&A transactions. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Driving transactions in both the Swiss and international markets by offering sell-side, buy-side, and capital raise advisory services to Life Sciences & Healthcare (LS&HC) clients.
  • Acting as the primary contact for senior-level client staff during demanding engagements, managing the transaction workflow and client communication.
  • Leading and executing the complete deal lifecycle, including pre-deal advisory, document preparation, financial modeling, investor outreach, due diligence coordination, and transaction structuring advice.
  • Engaging in business development activities to build a robust deal pipeline.
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members to foster their professional development.
  • Connecting with a global network of M&A specialists within a professional and diverse work environment.
  • Developing a robust network of clients, prospective clients, and transaction counterparties while working autonomously under the guidance of an engagement director.

Qualifications

We seek candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Life Sciences.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the LS&HC sector, ideally with prior exposure to M&A transactions.
  • Business acumen and/or financial expertise demonstrated through education, experience, and interest.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, combined with a curious and open-minded approach.
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in providing mentorship to junior team members.
  • Fluency in English; additional proficiency in German is a plus.
