What Awaits You

As part of our Financial Accounting Advisory Services team, you will:

• Lead projects that advise our international and national clients in various sectors regarding transaction accounting, sales, and capital market activities, including support for acquisition accounting and the creation of pro forma and carve-out reports.
• Advise clients on accounting changes and transitions while assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Support clients in areas such as processes, controls, and accounting under Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, and US GAAP, and help realign financial functions.
• Collaborate with teams from other locations and service lines (e.g., Strategy and Transactions, Tax, Consulting) to provide the best possible services for our clients.
• Assume a leadership role within the team, managing engagements predominantly on-site as well as across Switzerland, while also taking responsibility for the development of junior staff.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration and a qualification as a certified auditor (or equivalent).
• At least 6 years of experience in an audit or consulting firm, or within the finance function of a larger corporation.
• Strong expertise in accounting standards, particularly IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER, and the Swiss Code of Obligations, with knowledge of US GAAP as a plus.
• Project experience related to mergers and acquisitions or capital market transactions would be beneficial.
• Key attributes such as teamwork, determination, commitment, and quick comprehension, which will drive your success with us.
• Fluency in German and English is essential.
• A genuine enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, young team and embracing new professional challenges.
