This contract role in Fort Worth focuses on supporting transportation operations, carrier management, freight optimization, and transportation performance across the supply chain network.

Primary Responsibilities

This position serves as a vital support link between carriers, distribution centers, customer service teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation services. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Logistics, you will support daily reporting needs, tariff cost entries, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Duties

• Transportation Operations: Monitor shipment execution across all transportation modes.
• Carrier Management: Manage carrier scorecards focusing on service, cost, quality, and compliance metrics.
• Cost Management & Analytics: Monitor transportation spend and analyze freight data, accessorial charges, and network efficiencies.
• Team Support: Provide guidance and support to the Inbound Trade Compliance Lead and Outbound Performance Lead.
• Project Support: Support transportation-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Training: Train team members on transportation procedures, KPIs, and best practices.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Support audit requirements and transportation documentation standards while promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or international operations is preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.
• Experience with WMS or TMS (transportation management systems) is preferred.
• A high school diploma is required; a college degree is not required.
