As we continue to expand our international team, we are looking for an experienced professional to spearhead legal and operational activities within Central Asian and CIS countries.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal and business advisory for international partners encompassing trade, corporate, and contract law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate international contracts, including distribution, licensing, M&A, and partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with trade, customs, and corporate regulations.
- Coordinate import/export operations and facilitate multi-party partnerships.
- Conduct market analysis and risk assessments to support management in regional expansion.
- Utilize diplomatic expertise to manage government relations and high-level negotiations.
- Lead negotiations and communications in Russian, a crucial skill for success in the region.
Qualifications
- Swiss Master’s degree in law (LL.M).
- Swiss compliance certification is an advantage.
- Central Asian/CIS region/Russian qualified lawyer is essential.
- Extensive experience in legal advisory, compliance, contract management, and international trade, particularly in Central Asia and Russia/former CIS countries.
- Proven diplomatic and negotiation experience with governments and international organizations.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, trade, and international contract law, including M&A and licensing.
- Demonstrated record in cross-border negotiations and intercultural collaboration.
- Native-level Russian proficiency, vital for contracts, market analysis, and partner communication.
- Excellent command of German and English; French is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, project management, ESG optimization, and data migration experience.
- Possess strong analytical skills, independence, and intercultural competence.
