Lead PCB Assembly Engineer 80-100%

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a skilled team of technicians focused on PCB assembly. Your tasks will include:

• Managing and mentoring a team of technicians involved in PCB assembly.
• Ensuring quality control and compliance with industry regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with the design team to address technical challenges and enhance production yield and efficiency.
• Developing and implementing processes and procedures for PCB assembly.
• Writing and maintaining comprehensive documentation regarding PCB assembly methods.
• Staying current on industry trends and technologies, adopting best practices in PCB assembly.

Essential Requirements

To thrive in this position, you should possess:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in PCB assembly, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• A strong understanding of PCB assembly processes, such as SMT and hand soldering.
• Experience with quality control measures and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
• Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience with Mycronic solder paste jet printing.
• Experience operating Essemtec pick and place machines.
• Familiarity with Asscon vapor phase reflow soldering.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with CAD design software, such as Altium or KiCad.
