Laboratory Technician

Overview

The Instrumental Analytics department plays a crucial role in our Reagent Research and Design initiatives. Engaging in the development, validation, and implementation of diverse analytical methods, our team utilizes technologies such as Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry, digital PCR, and FTIR microscopy. We are committed to continuous exploration and evaluation of innovative approaches alongside our routine operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan analysis in collaboration with supervisory staff.
• Prepare standards and samples for testing.
• Conduct experiments utilizing various analytical instruments.
• Perform data analysis with guidance from supervisory staff.
• Document experimental procedures thoroughly.
• Communicate and escalate issues as needed.
• Propose recommendations based on generated data.
• Contribute to efficiency improvements within assigned work packages.
• Organize and manage time effectively in accordance with assigned tasks.
• Oversee the ordering and maintenance of materials.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Laboratory Technician or a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field, complemented by 2-3 years of relevant laboratory experience. A keen curiosity and an innovative mindset towards problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Essential Skills

• Completed education in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or Biotechnology.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of laboratory experience in academic research or industry settings, such as Pharma or MedTech.
• Initial exposure to Liquid Chromatography and PCR techniques.
• Basic experience in statistical data analysis and interpretation.
• Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.
• A genuine enthusiasm for practical laboratory work.
• A multidirectional approach to thinking and problem-solving.
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Preferences

• Familiarity with Good Practice (GxP) regulations is a plus.
