About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven individual to join our international trading team as a Wheat Trader. This position involves active engagement in the wheat markets across the EU and Black Sea regions, where you will identify opportunities, execute trades, and manage positions within established limits. You will operate at the core of the market, balancing supply and demand, managing price volatility, and enhancing trading performance.

This hands-on role offers direct exposure to P&L management, allowing you to collaborate closely with experienced traders, logistics, and risk management teams while developing your own market perspective and professional network.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute and develop strategies for wheat trading in international markets.
  • Identify arbitrage opportunities and convert them into profitable trades.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, brokers, and counterparties.
  • Analyze market dynamics, including supply, demand, pricing, and associated risks.
  • Manage trading positions and contribute to hedging strategies involving futures and cash.
  • Monitor and guide shipment flows in collaboration with logistics teams.
  • Stay informed on market developments and provide actionable insights.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in commodity trading, preferably in the wheat sector.
  • A strong understanding of agricultural markets and trading fundamentals.
  • Experience with risk management and hedging instruments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with EU and Black Sea trading flows and logistics routes is highly valued.
  • Sharp commercial instincts and confidence in decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
