Our partner, Roche Diagnostics International AG, located in Rotkreuz, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their team in the R&D Service chapter.
Position Overview
This role provides an exciting opportunity to develop as a technical contributor within a cross-functional team. You will be supported through comprehensive training and mentorship, allowing you to enhance your skills in maintaining and troubleshooting Roche Diagnostic Systems throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert and primary point of contact for internal customers regarding all service aspects.
- Install Roche Diagnostics systems (hardware and software) in accordance with installation manuals from the Roche Diagnostics Knowledge (RDK) database.
- Conduct system qualifications (IQ/OQ), perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues autonomously.
- Manage the deployment and servicing of various systems with their specific configurations.
- Ensure thorough documentation in compliance with established quality standards.
- Provide technical support for global development trials.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- An academic degree in technical engineering (e.g., Medical Devices, Electronics/Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering) or completed technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics, electronics mechanic technician).
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience, such as as an automotive mechanic, service technician, or precision mechanic.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting skills related to diagnostic hardware, software, or IT setups.
- A proactive, service-oriented team player with a genuine desire to learn and develop hands-on skills in servicing diagnostic instruments.
Nice to Have:
- A willingness to learn and work within a highly regulated industry, including laboratories with biosafety levels S1 and S2 (training will be provided).
