Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our passionate and dynamic team in Bern. This role supports organization-wide IT-related requests and drives automation tasks. A hands-on familiarity with IT tools, system maintenance in a regulated environment, and experience with scripting or coding are essential for this position. The role promises strong growth potential, with opportunities for expanded responsibilities and career development over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle internal IT/Microsoft 365/SharePoint inquiries and serve as the liaison with external IT provider.
• Maintain and update the company homepage using WordPress.
• Develop scripts and deploy tools to enhance automation across departments while exploring AI tools.
• Manage version control and code repositories effectively.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure with the assistance of the IT provider, specifically Azure subscriptions.
• Train personnel and compile instructions on the use of IT infrastructure and tools.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Support the development and implementation of IT strategy aligned with management goals.
• Develop IT policies, procedures, and technical guidance for the company.
• Monitor system security, data backup, and disaster recovery planning in collaboration with external IT provider.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues proactively.
• Monitor IT expenditures and review invoices for accuracy.

Desired Qualifications

• General IT support and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong scripting/coding skills (e.g., Python) with solid knowledge of Git/version control and databases (e.g., SQL).
• Familiarity with web maintenance, particularly WordPress and potential knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, Office 365, and CoPilot.
• Ability to automate workflows, including documentation processing and data migration.
• Strong communication skills for cross-departmental support and training material creation.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a regulated environment with quality management systems and GDPR compliance.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM/Agent tools and their practical application in business processes.
• Understanding of basic statistics.
• An engineering mindset.
