About the Role

As our company grows and expands, we are seeking a qualified professional to enhance our IT Department's capabilities. This pivotal role will focus on managing and supporting IT infrastructure, systems, services, staff, and vendors, catering to both Swiss and international users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the optimal operation of IT infrastructure and systems with minimal downtime and unplanned outages.
  • Conduct validations for infrastructure and systems as needed.
  • Stay updated on current and emerging technologies to improve security, reduce costs, enhance system performance, mitigate compliance risks, and maintain compliance.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and system administration, including during non-business hours as required.
  • Manage IT staff by setting goals, providing training, fostering a safe work environment, and promoting personal growth opportunities.
  • Review and update IT policies and procedures to align with relevant regulations and standards.

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in IT.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, specifically focusing on IT infrastructure.
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft Office 365, Azure, networking, and supporting ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
  • Proficient in warehouse and manufacturing technologies, including printers, RF guns, and IoT.
  • Project management experience in implementing hardware and software systems.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written; proficiency in French and/or German is preferred, with additional languages considered a plus.
  • Possess a stress-resistant, reliable, and flexible personality along with excellent communication skills.
  • Open-minded, service-oriented, and equipped with outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours and on weekends as necessary.
  • Exemplary leadership and coaching abilities.
