Interior Designer / Interior Architect

We are expanding our talented team in our interior design studio located in the beautiful area of Saanen/Gstaad. We are looking for an accomplished professional who is either an experienced Senior Interior Designer or an Architect with a passion for the interior design field.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of high-end residential projects
• Proven experience in engaging with clients, contractors, and suppliers in a highly professional manner
• Expertise in managing and delivering projects from the initial concept to completion, including brief development, concept design, production information, construction, installation, and handover
• Ability to create and develop conceptual designs that harmoniously integrate with our portfolio, showcasing a keen understanding of color and texture with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Vectorworks, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and other relevant industry software applications is advantageous
• Self-motivated with a strong initiative, while also being an effective team player capable of working efficiently in an organized manner
• Self-confidence with a receptiveness to constructive feedback
• Skilled in time management, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional communication abilities, encompassing verbal, written, and visual skills
• A valid driving license is essential

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints
• Prepare concepts, mood boards, preliminary and final designs, and develop detailed specifications for furniture, fixtures, materials, and lighting layouts
• Coordinate workflow with colleagues, craftsmen, and architects
• Collaborate closely with the director, using your initiative to pursue new business opportunities and respond to inquiries
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Stay informed about new developments and design trends within the industry
• Generate offers, invoices, and track orders with suppliers and client deliveries
• Support the Sales team in store sales and inquiries

Language Proficiency

Fluency in English is mandatory, and skills in German and French will be considered a plus.
