Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical System Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on low voltage electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Basic Metrology Tasks: Perform routine calibrations of electrical instruments, sensors, and equipment in accordance with SOPs and GMP standards.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve electrical and metrology issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Documentation: Record all maintenance and calibration activities in compliance with GMP standards.
  • Manufacturing Support: Collaborate in maintaining critical electrical systems and metrology equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and calibration tasks adhere to GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance team leads and members to coordinate activities and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Technical diploma or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Metrology, or a related field. Swiss Federal Certificate of Competence (EFZ) as an Electrician or equivalent certification is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in instrumentation maintenance and calibration, preferably in a GMP manufacturing setting.
  • Competencies: Strong understanding of GMP standards, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Must possess the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of tasks while adhering to analytical thinking.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks involving prolonged standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Willingness to work in cleanroom environments and provide 24/7 on-call support.
  • Available to work in afternoon and evening shifts (Mon-Fri, 13:00-22:00).
