Hedging Operations Manager (m/f/d)

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily liquidity through cash monitoring and bank account reconciliation, supporting the liquidity planning process alongside the Senior Operations Manager.
• Pre-advise the Front Office regarding maturing positions, including futures, options, and equity swaps.
• Monitor the hedging platform to oversee daily derivatives trading and hedge administrator activities, ensuring trade confirmations and documentation are accurate.
• Review incoming reports for reconciliation, settlement, and valuation of market index alignments, and initiate the escalation process as needed.
• Assist with the administrative closing process for portfolio bookings and collateral management.
• Support additional reporting and auditing activities as required.
• Review and update existing back-office process documentation to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent education.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Middle/Back-office operations.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with the derivatives life cycle.
• Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent social and communication skills.
• Proactive in client engagement with a willingness to explore new approaches.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive working and learning environment.
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and with consistency.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is highly preferred.
