Role Overview

The mission is to connect global sourcing with product development, ensuring that sourcing becomes a strategic enabler from the outset. By building solid partnerships across various teams, you will promote a culture of learning that enhances both quality and timely delivery. The objective is to develop a sourcing roadmap that facilitates the seamless execution of the product portfolio while balancing essential aspects such as cost and delivery time.

Your Mission

  • Strategic Alignment: Foster collaboration between the sourcing organisation based in Vietnam and the broader product team located in Switzerland.
  • Integrate Sourcing Considerations: Ensure sourcing needs are strategically included in the product roadmap, making all projects 'sourcing ready' before the product freeze stage.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a strategic partner across various cross-functional teams, including Innovation, Creation, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sustainability.
  • Learning Culture: Instill a learning culture within the product development process to improve quality and on-time delivery systematically.
  • Portfolio Execution: Create a sourcing roadmap that enables the impeccable execution of the product portfolio, balancing cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Your Story

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic footwear sourcing; experience in apparel and accessories is an added advantage.
  • Strong comprehension of the product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization, particularly focusing on sourcing integration.
  • Proven ability to connect various functions, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Leadership skills to manage a portfolio of cross-functional projects effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and execution capabilities, with demonstrated success in implementing strategic objectives within a complex organization.
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration, effectively working within a global organization and fostering cooperation among geographically diverse teams, particularly between Europe and Asia.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive consensus across diverse internal groups.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, with experience in implementing methodologies that encourage learning and development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex trade-offs and offer effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication abilities to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to various audiences, influencing and aligning with senior leadership.
