Head, AI Product Management and Program Delivery

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead the end-to-end execution of an innovative AI product portfolio. This pivotal role is focused on ensuring the successful delivery of AI products from inception to operational scale, emphasizing readiness for adoption and measurable business impact. Central to this position is the establishment and maintenance of a high-performing product management and program delivery framework, which incorporates robust operating models, governance, and delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and continuously refine the operating model for AI Product Management and Program Delivery, encompassing governance, methodologies, and delivery standards.
• Ensure the quality and precision of AI product execution aligned with established priorities and roadmaps, transforming strategic objectives into actionable plans.
• Maintain strong collaboration with Line Functions, DDIT, and key stakeholders to clarify execution responsibilities and manage dependencies effectively.
• Drive oversight of portfolio-level delivery, tracking progress, managing risks, and escalating critical issues when necessary.
• Mobilize and oversee cross-functional program structures for priority AI initiatives to ensure timely and scalable delivery.
• Oversee resource planning and allocation across the AI portfolio, optimizing the deployment of product managers and program leads.
• Monitor performance across AI products and programs to ensure adherence to delivery standards and consistent outcomes.
• Facilitate the integration of AI products into business processes, promoting workflow adaptation and new operational practices.
• Drive coherence and integration across the product portfolio, actively managing dependencies and opportunities for reuse.
• Lead, build, and develop a high-performance team of product managers and program delivery leaders, fostering talent and strong operational capabilities.
• Contribute to the Process Innovation and AI Leadership Team fostering cross-pillar alignment and model improvement.
• Oversee external partnerships in program execution ensuring they align with internal objectives and delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related fields.
• Languages: Proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Experience:
• A minimum of 10 years in Technology, Digital Transformation, Product Management, or related fields, ideally in healthcare/life sciences.
• Proven success in leading large-scale product portfolios and managing complex program delivery.
• Experience in AI-enabled product management and comprehensive lifecycle delivery.
• Ability to establish and govern delivery operating models, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in cross-functional environments relying heavily on IT delivery organizations.
• Proven capability to deliver predictable outcomes at scale across distributed teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with an aptitude for engaging senior leaders.
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and modern product delivery frameworks.
• Experience in developing high-performing teams and retaining talent.
• Understanding of the value-driven role of AI-enabled products in business process integration.
