Your Mission

Key Tasks:

  • Deliver ground instruction on UAS-related topics, including mechanical and avionic systems.
  • Develop lesson plans, presentations, and training materials suited for various learning environments.
  • Assess student progress through written exams and practical knowledge evaluations.
  • Collaborate effectively with flight instructors and maintenance technicians to synchronize ground instruction with practical UAS training.

Competencies & Duties

  • Work independently and responsibly, executing the tasks as outlined.
  • Comply with ANAVIA’s employment contract, adhere to safety instructions, and meet quality standards as defined in the company manual.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Engineering, Education, or a related field is desirable.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in UAS operations or aviation instruction is required. Familiarity with mission planning, risk assessment, and flight safety management systems is beneficial. Experience with training simulator software tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in: Risk management frameworks, safety management systems (SMS), and crew resource management (CRM). Familiarity with digital learning tools and instructional technologies (e.g., PowerPoint, LMS platforms, e-learning content creation) is desirable.
  • Skills: Remote Pilot Certificate preferred; ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with strong social abilities and analytical mindset.
  • Language: Good verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is desirable.
