Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee complex grant portfolios, ensuring effective planning, budgeting, and communication with stakeholders.
• Utilize project management tools to monitor financial aspects of research grants, subcontracts, consultant agreements, and staffing data.
• Employ strong financial forecasting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Train and mentor junior team members when needed.

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in health sciences, a health-related field, finance, or business.
• Experience in project management, research grant or contract management, or finance.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex grant portfolios for a functional group or team of Principal Investigators (PIs).
• Plan, budget, and track project activities while ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
• Monitor financial aspects of multiple research grants, including subcontracts, consultant agreements, and staffing data.
• Utilize project management tools and techniques to ensure efficient grant management.
• Provide training to support staff on grant financial and institutional procedures.
• Coach and mentor junior team members as needed.
