Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional to join our team, focused on delivering exceptional results and solutions. This role involves high-level calibration and compliance activities, associated with our clients’ instruments and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-level calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with accurate and timely GxP documentation, adhering to client-specific policies and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance and effective solutions to clients and technical teams.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of client-owned equipment, while training associates on correct usage.
- Identify scope changes, communicate these to clients, and process requests accordingly.
- Assess and manage project safety concerns, ensuring compliance with client and site requirements.
- Develop and implement effective solutions by understanding client environments and needs, and fostering strong relationships.
- Execute GMP and compliance practices relating to client instrumentation needs.
- Develop functional instrument requirements and procure instruments for clients.
- Perform and oversee equipment services and instrument procurement, collaborating with third-party technical services.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in the pharmaceutical or quality industry. Key qualifications include:
- A degree in Engineering, Management Life Sciences, or a related technical field (or equivalent military training) along with five or more years of experience in instrumentation.
- Preferences for experience in project management, consulting, supervision, and client relations.
- Ability to independently initiate specifications, installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Background in calibration and instrumentation within process or analytical services, and acting as a technical advisor in life sciences.
- Strong knowledge of incubators, centrifuges, balances, refrigerators, freezers, stability chambers, chromatography (HPLC or GC), spectrophotometers, and general laboratory equipment.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and German language skills are a plus.
