Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Drive global SEO and content strategies that enhance student enrollment across 40+ markets. Lead the digital authority of EF Language Abroad, establishing our voice in language education and cultural immersion. Stay ahead of trends, algorithm changes, and AI innovations to ensure a competitive edge.
• Team & Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with a high-performing team of SEO specialists, engineers, and content strategists. Oversee remote tech resources, ensuring alignment with central and local marketing goals, fostering innovation, and mentoring teams in SEO tactics.
• Content Strategy: Develop content frameworks that showcase EF's expertise across search and AI platforms. Test and refine content performance to maximize effectiveness.
• Performance & Innovation: Define KPIs that link organic growth with enrollment and brand authority. Deliver executive reporting on ROI and strategic impact while experimenting with cutting-edge platforms.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, particularly in the education industry with expertise in student acquisition
• Expert-level technical SEO skills, including site architecture and international optimization
• Proven experience in leveraging AI and machine learning for content discovery and customer acquisition
• Strong data-driven approach with the capability to set KPIs and demonstrate ROI for organic growth
• Exceptional executive presence, able to engage and influence C-suite leaders
• Global leadership experience managing cross-cultural teams across multiple time zones
• Recognized thought leader with a willingness to engage in industry speaking and advisory roles
• Effective crisis management skills, adept at navigating algorithm updates and competitive challenges
