We are excited to invite a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to lead our global business development and trading strategy. This senior leadership opportunity allows you to influence trading operations across various asset classes while optimizing performance and guiding a high-performing international team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Drive global business development initiatives to enhance trading activities, foster client relationships, and diversify product offerings.
- Collaborate with structuring, sales, and trading teams to develop customized financial solutions.
- Monitor global market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth in trading and product innovation.
- Implement and manage complex hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks.
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with institutional clients, counterparties, and leading financial institutions worldwide.
- Ensure compliance with international regulatory frameworks including FINMA, MiFID II, and EU directives.
- Contribute strategic insights to the firm’s global expansion plans, product innovation, and risk management frameworks.
- Oversee trading performance, evaluate business KPIs, and assess market penetration metrics.
- Lead and mentor business development and trading teams across different regions.
- Take ownership of the division’s P&L and ensure the achievement of financial and strategic goals.
What You Bring to the Role
- Over 15 years of experience in Exotic Derivatives trading, Portfolio Management, and global business development across diverse asset classes.
- At least 10 years of experience in trading US and/or other international Equities, including exchange-listed or OTC derivatives.
- A minimum of 5 years of international work experience, ideally in Asia and/or North America.
- A proven track record in P&L ownership, trading strategy development, and risk management.
- Deep understanding of pricing methodologies, financial products, and hedging techniques.
- Leadership experience in managing global teams within a high-performance culture.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional ability to identify market trends, craft growth strategies, and develop client-centric solutions.
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with institutional stakeholders.
- An advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
