Your Role

In this role, you will contribute significantly to financial analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management activities within the Group. You will play a vital part in enhancing FP&A processes by ensuring high-quality reporting and data transparency. Collaborating closely with Group Controlling and Division finance teams, you will focus on the deployment and optimization of a new FP&A software solution while ensuring its adoption and functionality meets business requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support Group FP&A activities, including actuals analysis, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, initiative tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Serve as the key user and sponsor of the new FP&A software solution, managing requirement gathering, development, user testing, data validation, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc financial analyses on revenue, expenses, and other key performance indicators.
  • Monitor performance trends and variances against plans, providing clear insights and explanations for management.
  • Enhance recurring FP&A reports, dashboards, and management reporting packages with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with various finance teams to optimize workflows and planning processes within the FP&A tool.
  • Contribute to discussions on data structure and reporting logic to ensure effective analysis through the FP&A software.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes, improve data quality, and streamline operations.
  • Support financial reviews, long-term planning, and special projects with benchmarking and scenario analysis.
  • Assist in preparing training materials and documentation related to FP&A processes and system-enabled reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with finance colleagues to share knowledge and support the adoption of standardized processes and tools.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, ideally supported by a relevant professional certification (e.g., CIMA, CPA).
  • 2–3 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, accounting, or related analytical finance roles.
  • Proven interest in systems development, FP&A software deployment, or finance process optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail and effective communication of financial information.
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data to detect trends and inform decision-making.
  • Understanding of core FP&A concepts, including planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Interest in developing self-service software solutions and enhancing productivity through automation.
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to understanding business processes and supporting user adoption of changes.
  • Basic understanding of data structures and reporting hierarchies to improve finance tools and processes.
