Fixed Income Credit Trader - Emerging Markets

Key Responsibilities

Contributing to the P&L of the FI bond value chain is essential. Your role will involve:

Providing liquidity to other banks and the bank's client base with a flow-driven trading approach.
Actively monitoring and managing the risk of the trading book.
Maintaining close collaboration with Sales and Advisory teams, as well as core clients.
Monitoring market developments closely and responding quickly to changes.
Proactively generating and implementing trading ideas, discussing them with internal stakeholders and clients.
Assisting in expanding the bank's client base in core regions across Europe and Asia.
Adhering to all relevant rules, regulations, and internal directives, while staying updated with regulatory developments in trading.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A Master's degree in economics, finance, or a comparable field of study.
5-10 years of practical experience in emerging markets credit trading within a bulge bracket investment bank.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office.
Experience with Order Management Systems.
Familiarity with VBA or Python programming is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
A successful track record in trading with a portable strategy for P&L generation.
A hands-on mentality and a willingness to take responsibility.
The ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
A dedicated, focused, self-motivated attitude, particularly in challenging environments.
Fluency in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
